Building a Brand Identity

Building a personal brandstarts with defining your mission, values, and unique story—what inspires you and what sets your work apart. A strong visual identity, consistent messaging, and clear understanding of your audience are key to making your brand memorable.

A brand should reflect the focus and personality of the company it represents. The real Dill pickle brand was developed as an interest of mine. I actually make them! Through brainstorming I developed a name, created an illustration for my labels and chose my main colors based on market research and my target audience.

The final product

Brand marketing involves developing a relationship between consumers and your brand. Colors, fonts, photo treatments and your slogan should all work toward that goal.
